Your Partner in Quality Senior Care
As a healthcare provider, recommending the right retirement community is one of the most important choices you’ll make for your senior clients. Learn why faith-based not-for-profit communities are the best partners in care.
"Mount Carmel Care Center is a 5-star facility. The quality of care, loving staff and kindness shown to all who reside or come for short term rehab is top notch... From the moment you walk through the door, you recognize immediately that this is a special place."

Seeing is believing!
Faith-Based Senior Living
The Carmelite Sisters have been about the ministry of senior care since September 3, 1929, when Mother Angeline Teresa and six companions left the Little Sisters of the Poor to found a new Congregation dedicated to caring for the elderly.
In 1999, The Carmelite System formed to provide supportive services and guidance to ensure compassionate, loving care of the highest standards with wise stewardship of resources. The System supports the mission and philosophy of the Congregation, proclaiming the value and dignity of the aged and infirm. Not only is our history rooted in sacred ground, but the service we provide – caring for these seniors when they are most in-need – is also sacred. Our staff continuously provides and improves upon collaborative ways to meet the needs of today’s elderly and fosters the healing ministry of Christ in Catholic healthcare.
"I have worked with the people at Mount Carmel Care Center for more than two years, and in my decade or so of professional life in the area of senior care, it is clear to me that the level of care, compassion and professionalism here is second to none... More than that, it's the mission and dedication to their driving idea The Difference is Love that makes all the difference."
- John K.
Now More Than Ever, The Right Care
After COVID-19, care for the elderly will never be quite the same. The Carmelite Sisters and the Carmelite System are prepared to embrace the changes necessary to move our homes into a future of challenges. We choose to see these changes as potentially transformational rather than a stumbling block. Mother Angeline urged us to “meet the needs of the times” in our care for the aged and infirm. Her words ring true now more than ever. We pray to her for the faith, determination and vision necessary to move forward while remaining rooted in our mission and values.
